If you are looking for a luxurious 4-star hotel as close to the airport as possible, then we have the hotel for you. The Hilton London Gatwick is connected to the South Terminal by a covered walkway. So there's no need for transfers - and you won't have to worry about the English weather getting you wet before your flight.
Even if you are flying from the North Terminal this is still an ideal choice as you can just hop on the free monorail, which will take you straight there.
Start your day right with the Hilton buffet breakfast. Pile your plate high with bacon, eggs, sausages and beans. Go as many times as you like for £18.50 per person. Or if you fancy something lighter, continental breakfast is just £13.50 per person. You can enjoy breakfast from 6am to 10.30am from Monday to Friday and on Saturday and Sunday from 6am to 11am.
Now for your evening meal. The Hilton doesn't have only one restaurant but two to choose from.
At the Garden Restaurant you can either choose from the evening buffet and carvery or try the international a la carte menu. Choose from curries, grills, fish, pasta and pizzas, plus if you can squeeze it in, enjoy one of the many tasty starters or desserts. The restaurant is open from 5.30pm until 10.30pm every day.
Amy's Restaurant, which has recently been refurbished, offers a tasty-sounding international menu. Start with seared Cajun salmon, foie gras parfait or potato gnocchi and wild mushrooms. For your main course, there's tandoori-marinated corn-fed chicken breast, fillet of beef and braised oxtail or spiced cod fillet. And to finish it all off, how about dark chocolate cake, warm strawberry tarte tatin or a plate of British and continental cheeses? Enjoy an excellent meal from 6pm until 11pm.
If you just want a light lunch or snack, head to Amy's Bar. This vibrant bar is a great place to sit back and relax. Enjoy pre-dinner cocktails and coffee or grab a snack. The bar is open from 11am until 2am.
If you're into your sport, then you'll love Charlie Fry's Sports Bar. Catch up with the latest news or live sports over a drink. This popular bar is next door to the Garden Restaurant - an ideal place to sit back and relax after a meal. The bar is open from 5pm until 11pm so there's plenty of time to get in a few pre-holiday drinks.
Keep yourself feeling fit and looking good at the Hilton's LivingWell Express gym. It's open 24 hours a day, and has TV screens to keep you entertained while you work out. There are two stretch mats, two ab cradles, and nine cardiovascular and resistance machines. Under-16s must be supervised by an adult.
The hotel has two restaurants, two bars, a coffee shop, a concierge, baggage storage, an executive lounge, a gift shop, a laundry and a convenience store. Room service is available.
Start your holiday in comfort. All rooms are soundproofed, so you won't hear the planes, and have air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom with La Source toiletries, a plasma TV with pay-per-view movies, an MP3 dock, a radio, a hairdryer and tea and coffee. All rooms have internet access, but there is a charge for it.
Family rooms are available for up to two adults and three children. The Hilton has a children's menu, created with the help of child nutrition expert Annabel Karmel, and cots and high chairs are available.
The earliest check-in time is 3pm and the latest check-out time is midday.
All rooms are non-smoking. Pets are allowed - please contact the hotel.
If you are travelling with family, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures are not too far away. Also nearby are Crawley Leisure Park, Copthorne and Crawley golf courses, Hever and Arundel castles and London's West End.
Your car will be parked at either the Long Stay Plus or Long Stay North car park, depending on which terminal you are flying from.
